Join us for the first event in our new Dimensions of Wellness series, where we explore different aspects of well-being—from emotional to financial to cultural health.
This opening session focuses on Cultural Wellness, featuring a Q&A with Garifuna rights activist Marley Chatuye Nunez, moderated by community projects coordinator Johnelle (Star) Carcamo.
We’ll explore how the health of the Garifuna culture and the well-being of Garifuna people are deeply interconnected. Marley will share his perspectives on cultural strength, community identity, and what it means to actively build and sustain the health of a living, evolving culture.
All are welcome to join this thoughtful and community-centered conversation.
